Hello Oliver, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.
FastPass+ is one of the best ways to minimize wait times for your favorite rides, attractions, shows, and character experiences. You can skip the standby line and magically dance your way to the FastPass+ return line. Any guest with a valid theme park admission ticket linked to their
My Disney Experience account can make their selections 30 days in advance.
There are only a certain number of
FastPass+ spot open for each return time. A guest of a select Disney Resort Hotel can make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to their check-in date for the length of their trip, for up to 10 days. All FastPass+ spots are available to resort hotel guests and none are held back for a later time. However, there have been times when my plans have changed and I have released a FastPass+ for a popular attraction allowing it to become available to someone else. There have been times when I have even been able to get a last minute FastPass+ for
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the day before my arrival.
My best advice is to keep checking online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app for possible cancellations from other guests. I would also recommend getting to the park prior to its opening and heading straight for the ride or attraction at the top of your must-do list. Good luck with your planning and if you have any other questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
