Hi Keith! Welcome to planDisney.
I have loved seeing the photos of Mickey pumpkins lining Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park and
reading about all the Halloween treats coming to the parks. All the anticipation for spooky season plus excitement about
The World's Most Magical Celebration has me SO ready to return to Walt Disney World Resort! Like you, I'm paying careful attention to crowds and safety protocols as I decide when that next visit is going to be.
Disney does not release information about theme park capacity, so I unfortunately don't have an answer to your question. The Disney Park Pass reservation system is still in place; this is how Disney is managing theme park capacity, but information on the number of Guests making reservations daily is not published. You will find information about the current health and safety procedures on the
Returning to a World of Magic webpage; one thing to note is that Walt Disney World recently announced an update to their face covering requirements. All Guests aged 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status, are currently required to wear face coverings at all indoor locations and on Disney transportation. Please see the
Face Coverings information for the full details.
Having rescheduled two Walt Disney World vacations since the pandemic began, I understand what a difficult decision it is to postpone your visit. You know what is best for your family, and Mickey will be ready to welcome you when the time is right. The
Disney Parks Blog is a great resource for announcements about updated health and safety protocols, and I love following them for news and fun planning features too.
Thank you for stopping by planDisney, Keith! We're here to help if you have any further questions as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
