Welcome to planDisney, Thomas!
As a
Disney Vacation Club Member whose “home” resort is
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, I’m so excited that you’ll be visiting. I never tire of the cozy Pacific-Northwest feel of this property or the quick boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park! I hope you love it.
Now, Thomas, from your question it sounds like you currently have a room-only reservation or you are a Disney Vacation Club Member staying on points. In either case the best way to purchase tickets is through your
My Disney Experience account.
planDisney tip: Check Disney Park Pass availability of your desired dates before purchasing your tickets. Currently all guests are required to hold a (complimentary) Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to your theme park tickets. Prior to booking, make sure you see availability for your dates by clicking HERE. After you’ve purchased your tickets, you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations. Once you’ve logged into you My Disney Experience account you’ll start by clicking on “My Plans.” From here you’ll see a blue icon that says, “Park tickets.” By hovering over that icon you’ll see the option to “select tickets.” You can then purchase tickets through that page.
I encourage you to take a look at
THIS ticket guide prior to purchasing so you can explore your options. For example, would you like to stay in one park per day or do you want the option to “hop” to another park? Do you want to purchase tickets for every day of your visit or would you like a “rest” day built in to enjoy Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or maybe plan a meal at Disney Springs?
Thomas, there is no right or wrong way to experience all four theme parks, only what's best for your family, but it is helpful to think about your answers to these questions in advance. If you need any additional recommendations or have other questions, come on back to planDisney! Like Snow White's 7 happy helpers, we are always ready to MINE for answers!
