We have 13 people traveling with us. What would be the best way using DVC points to accommodate us all?

Welcome Home, Matthew! Thanks for visiting planDisney, where we've got no troubles and life is the bubbles! I'm always happy to help a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member.

A Disney vacation is always a great idea in my book, and traveling with a large group of family or friends is a sure way to make core memories. One of the many wonderful things about Disney Vacation Club membership is the ability to stay in many different types of accommodations beyond a standard hotel room. This lets your group cook and enjoy leisurely meals together, strategize your rope drop itinerary over early morning coffee, or relax together after a long day in the parks. It's really a family-friendly way to travel and makes things feel more like home.

There's several different options to suit a 13-person group. I would first give some thought to whether you want everyone in one large space together, or if there are multiple families traveling that would prefer having their own space to unwind.  If one of your Guests is under the age of 3, they are considered an infant and you would be able to book a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa (available at selected resorts) for your entire group--otherwise the maximum occupancy is 12. Here's a few other examples of how you could use your Vacation Points to accommodate your group:
As I'm sure you're aware, your Home Resort Priority Period is between 8 and 11 months from your planned check-in date. I would act early in this window to secure the reservations you need, and if you have multiple bookings I suggest following up with a call to Member Services to request that they be as close together as possible. This is especially important if you're staying at a large resort like Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge -  Kidani Village

Matthew, I hope that one of these options will fit your group like Cinderella's glass slipper. Visit us again any time at planDisney if we can offer additional help with your vacation planning. I hope your group has a magical vacation--don't forget the matching t-shirts!

    Adventure Awaits!
