Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you’ll be having a great, big, beautiful family vacation this summer, how exciting!
Since you’ve already purchased your tickets and
Disney Genie+ Service for all the members of your party, as long as you have all your
tickets linked in your My Disney Experience mobile app, you should be all set. At 7:00 a.m. on the days you have the Service, when you go to select your first attraction, you’ll see your name pop up as well as everyone in your party who is eligible to have a
Lightning Lane reservation. You’ll just select all their names and continue through the process until you’ve successfully secured your Lightning Lane. This is so convenient because with you in charge of selecting the Lightning Lanes for all the members of your party, the grandparents don’t need to do it on their own!
Once you use your party's first Lightning Lane or two hours after Theme Park opening, you’ll be able to select the next Lightning Lane and continue the cycle throughout the day (subject to availability). When you’ve made your party's Disney Genie+ and/or
Individual Lightning Lane selections, you’ll be able to see the reservations under the “My Genie Day” portion of the
My Disney Experience mobile app. When your reservation window opens (usually lasts one hour), you’ll head to the Lightning Lane, everyone will tap their MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile, or physical ticket, then you’ll be off to enjoy the attraction with your party!
Remember that you’ll also need to book everyone’s
Disney Park Pass reservations for every day of the trip. Since you’ve already purchased your tickets, this would be a great next thing to do ahead of your vacation.
