We (7 people) are staying at Wilderness Lodge 2/19-26. Can we make dining reservations now?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Thomas!

It's great to see you hEAR again with another question. Thomas, I'm always RAVENOUS to talk about dining around the Walt Disney World Resort! With so many delectable options, there is something for every taste(bud) and budget.

Thomas, at this time guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels are able to book advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance of your check-in for the length of your stay (up to 10 days). So, in your case, since you'll be checking into Disney's Wilderness Lodge on February 19th, your booking window opens on December 21st. I recommend browsing through the list of restaurants in advance of that December booking date so that you are ready to search reservations as soon as you're able. Popular restaurants, like those that offer character experiences (currently modified) tend to book up quickly, so I encourage you to book those first if that's a priority for your family.

Thomas, when I'm planning dining for my family I adhere to the old real estate saying, "location, location, location" and I think about what delicious options might already be convenient. At Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Whispering Canyon Cafe is a great choice with some fun antics from the servers if you'd like to play along! Disney's Wilderness Lodge is also home to my favorite burger found at Geyser Point Bar & Grill. This spot doesn't currently take reservations, but you can add your name to the walk-up wait list through the My Disney Experience app and the views are second to none!

I hope this information is helpful as you're continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation. Best wishes for a trip that is sweet, savory and leaves you thirsty for more. If you have any additional questions, come on back to planDisney where we are more excited to talk about food than Chef Remy is to be in the kitchen!
