Hey there, Julie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Julie, rest assured that as long as you have
valid theme park admission and
park pass reservations, you are all set and will be guaranteed entry into the Walt Disney World Theme Park that you have reservations for. The
availability calendar and reservation system are actually broken down into three categories - Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Guests with theme park admission only and Annual Passholders. These categories don't crossover and affect each other so there are no worries there. A few things to check to make sure your spot is secure. Do you already have valid theme park admission and have you made your park pass reservations. If so, you are all set to have a wonderful day at one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
Something else you might want to keep in mind is that
park hopping has officially returned to Walt Disney World at the start of this year! Park hopping is when you can visit multiple theme parks in one day. It's my favorite way to spend a day at Walt Disney World! To park hop right now Guests must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option added to their ticket. Guests must make park pass reservations for the first park of the day they wish to visit. Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes. Once you've made your initial park pass reservation Guests wishing to park hop do not need to make additional park pass reservations throughout the day.
My perfect Disney day starts off in the early morning hours at Magic Kingdom Park enjoying some of my most favorite attractions. Then around lunchtime when the parks tend to be the busiest I like to take a break back at the resort for an afternoon swim. Then, when the temperature has cooled down a bit and hunger strikes I love park hopping over to Epcot to spend the evening enjoying snacks and drinks around The World Showcase.
Julie, I hope this helps ease your mind about staying off property on your trip to Walt Disney World. I hope you enjoy all of your time at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. If you have any more questions before you go, I'd love for you to come back and
ask me.
