Welcome to planDisney, Nancy!
Wow, it sounds like you're about to embark on a truly magical vacation!
Disney's Riviera Resort is the newest hotel on property (
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is technically in a different galaxy so that doesn't count). Not only will you have access to
Disney Skyliner, but you'll be really close to one of the coolest restaurants on property,
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. Not only does this have an awesome character dining experience for breakfast, but the views are amazing. If you go at night, you'll be able to enjoy a unique viewing of the nighttime spectacular, EPCOT Forever (returning April 4). I trust you'll have a great time!
Nancy, I spoke to a couple of Cast Members today about your question (I wanted to double-check because there is some conflicting information out there). They informed me that Disney no longer provides spare cots for Guests. Each room is designed for a certain amount of Guests. Cots are not available based on their room configurations. You can certainly look into modifying your resort stay and book an extra room to accommodate the people in your party. However, you won't be able to request a cot, I'm afraid.
I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear, Nancy. However, hopefully, it doesn't dampen anyone's spirits for your upcoming trip. If anyone happens to have a not-so-magical night's sleep and needs a delicious caffeine boost, did you know that your hotel is home to the Riviera Resort Blend? This unique blend has been designed by Joffrey’s Head Roastmaster, Chris De Mezzo, in collaboration with Disney Chefs. You can try it at
Le Petit Café. Ooo La Latté!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Nancy.
