Can just 2 people stay in a family room at art of animation? I was only given standard room when booking

Hi there, William, and welcome to planDisney! My fellow Panelist pals and I are here and happy to help with all of your Disney vacation planning questions! It sounds like you're planning a fun visit for two to Walt Disney World Resort!

When you're booking a room at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you'll enter the information for your visit to check the rates. Depending on your dates, party size, and any other room requirements you have, you'll be shown all available rooms. A party of two is absolutely allowed to book a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and if you didn't see it as an option when booking, it's likely because that type of room is not available during your visit. You're always welcome to reach out to a helpful Cast Member if you need to make a change to your reservation.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is so much for for animation fans of all ages. You'll be in awe of the larger-than-life decor that immerses you in the theming throughout the resort. I recently had the opportunity to tour a Family Suite and was blown away by the thoughtful way the room was designed. The pull-down table bed would be the envy of my boys! The kitchenette is great for a quick breakfast or storing leftovers. Perhaps my favorite part of the Family Suite is the fact that it has a bedroom that's separated by a door! With two bathrooms, there's plenty of space to get ready for an epic day at the Disney Theme Parks. And, when you're ready to head out, you can easily hop on the Disney Skyliner or a bus! If you plan to take a day to rest and enjoy the Resort (my #1 tip!), you'll love the Big Blue Pool and splash pad - did you know it's the largest pool at Walt Disney World Resort?

William, I hope you have a blast during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Don't forget to make Advance Dining Reservations to secure your seat at your favorite table service restaurants, sixty days before your visit! If you'd like any advice on where to find the best snacks, meals, and beverages, you have a friend in me!

    TTFN! Ta ta for now!
