Advanced Dining Reservations. I am more than happy to provide you with a little more insight into the payment process.
One of the best parts about a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is the ability and ease to plan your trip with friends and family. With a few clicks or taps of a screen, you can share your whole trip or parts with your whole party. Of course, there are a few minor things that may come up when it comes to things like payments for reservations. I wanted to let you know April, that when it comes to Advanced Dining Reservations, only 1 credit card can be used, but this card is only to reserve your table and will be charged only if you violate the attendance policy. When it comes to the day of your reservation and meal, you will have to pay at the table and the Cast Members are not able to see which card you used for your reservation. So if you wanted to split a check 6 ways, your server will be more than happy to do that during your dining experience.
I did want to share one thing with you really quickly about dining reservations during your trip. Last month Disney updated their policy about canceling your dining reservation for most locations in Walt Disney World. You are now able to cancel a reservation 2 hours before your reservation with no penalty. This a change from 24 hours. If you needed to cancel a reservation, you should be able to do this right from your
My Disney Experience app without an issue!
Another snazzy feature of your My Disney Experience app is your ability to
check-in for your reservation from the app! On the day of your reservation, once your get within a few minutes of your reservation, you will be notified via the app that you have the ability to check-in at that time. You can also go into the app, select your reservation and should see a button to tap to check-in. Super easy to do and often can save the hassle of waiting in lines just to do the same thing!
