If only 2 out of the 4 people in my reservation want to go to all the parks, am i able to add on tickets before i get to Disney just for 2 people? Or will i have to wait till i get there? Can a dining plan be added for only 2 of the 4 people or no?

    Hi Dillon!

My parents often travel with us on our Walt Disney World vacations. While my dad does enjoy coming with us to experience rides and attractions, he also enjoys a break from the theme parks. There is so much to do at the Walt Disney World Resort, that you can easily find a full vacation’s worth of activities without even visiting a theme park. From world class golf courses and delectable dining, to relaxing spas and exhilarating water sports, there is truly something for everyone! With so much to do, you certainly do not need to purchase the same theme park tickets for each person in your party. You can wait and purchase tickets when you arrive, or you can purchase your tickets in advance. I recommend purchasing in advance so those with park tickets can make FastPass+ selections prior to arrival. This will give you the best selection of times and attractions.

If you will be adding the Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World Resort stay, this will need to be purchased in advance. The Disney Dining Plan must be purchased at least two days prior to check-in, and it must be purchased for the entire length of stay for each person on the room reservation. If you will have four people staying in one room, than all four would need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.

Since it sounds like you will need a high degree of customization for your vacation package, you should book your vacation reservations on the phone by calling (407) 939-5277 or by using a Disney Authorized Travel Agent, rather than booking online. If you will be visiting during the busy holiday season, I recommend you make your reservations as soon as possible, as popular resorts and dining locations tend to book early. Let us know what additional questions you have as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, we love to help!
