Hi Grant,
I'm excited to hear that you are ready to plan your Magical vacation to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort! Let's get you started!
Whenever I am ready to book my family's vacation, the first thing I do is check out the
Special Offers page to see if any offer could apply to my vacation dates. The next thing to do is to build your vacation package to include reservations for a Disney Resort hotel and theme park tickets. Check out this link to learn about the
Disney Resorts hotel collection and the benefits of staying IN the Magic! Now that you know all about the benefits of staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, it is time to choose which one suits you best. Follow the previous link to fill out your dates and travel party information in order to choose your Disney Resort hotel. During the booking process you will be able to add
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets to your vacation package. Personally, my family likes to stay about a week and we build a "rest" day into our vacation so we can enjoy the amenities of our Disney Resort hotel and also to visit Disney Springs. Therefore we usually choose theme park tickets that are a day or two shorter than our overall stay at our Disney Resort hotel, but the choice is up to you.
Grant, once you have made your reservation for your vacation package now it is time to make sure it is linked to your
My Disney Experience account. If you haven't made one yet, now is the perfect time! Next, after you have linked your reservations into your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to make
Theme Park Reservations. At this time, Guests must have a valid theme park ticket and Theme Park Reservation in order to visit the theme parks so this part is important to do as soon as you have made your purchase. Walt Disney World is a very popular destination and the sooner you make your Theme Park Reservations, the more assured you can be of visiting the theme parks you would like to visit on your preferred days.
Personally I love the convenience of being able to book my vacation online, but if you find that it is not for you then you can call the phone number listed in here for
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and speak to a Cast Member about booking a vacation package.
I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning! Please come back and visit us here again at planDisney with any future questions as we are always happy to help you plan your next Magical adventure.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
