    I have people in my party staying at Boardwalk Inn and Beach Club during the Marathon weekend next week supporting me for my marathon. Do you know if people staying at Beach Club will be able to cheer from Boardwalk? Will Boardwalk walkway to Epcot be open

    Hi, Jeffrey!  Welcome back to planDisney!  Oh, boy!  How exciting that you will be participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon.  That's quite an accomplishment!

    Your loved ones have picked great places to stay to cheer you on because Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Beach Club Resort are both very close to the race course.  I checked the runDisney Expo website and found that spectator viewing at Disney's BoardWalk is located between miles 24.4 and 24.8 and will be open from 5:55 AM until 12:05 PM, giving your supporters ample opportunity to cheer you on.  

    While your friends or family wait for you to whiz on by, they might need some nourishment. BoardWalk Deli will be open starting at 7:00 AM; I recommend the Mickey Cinnamon Roll.  If they are early birds, Carousel Coffee is located inside Disney's BoardWalk Inn and opens at 6:30 AM. The same Mickey Cinnamon Roll is available there as well.
