Hi Saskia,
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is an accommodation service provided by Disney for Guests with disabilities that make long waits challenging. If you have two members of your party that you feel meet the eligibility for the service, it is straightforward for Guests to begin the review process.
Although you can sign up for DAS in person at
Disney’s City Hall, I recommend going through the process in advance. Registering in advance allows you to plan better and saves you time in the park. To register in advance, follow the steps below 2-30 days before your scheduled trip:
- If you do not have a Disneyland Resort Account, create an account online.
- Between 9AM and 8PM Pacific Time, sign in to your Disneyland Resort Account and visit the
DAS webpage.
- Scroll down to the section that says “Ready to Chat with a Cast Member” and select the button to be added to the queue.
When completing these steps, make sure the person that needs the service is available for the video chat. If both are available at the same time, you may be able to register both with just one call. The Cast Member can answer any questions you may have about what the service will look like if two people require it in the same party.
Lastly, if you are looking for a great place to eat, I recommend the
Hungry Bear Restaurant. This quick-service dining location is tucked away in the corner of Critter Country and has two covered outdoor seating levels. I love to come here for food and a nice break. Not to mention, this place has some great views of the Rivers of America.
Happy planning,
Lola
