John from Stirlingshire Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can all 6 people in our party link everybody’s tickets with each other? Also tickets were allocated to everybody on the first account before they all had set up their own accounts. Will I have to delete the original ones?

    Hi John, welcome to planDisney!

My family most often visits Walt Disney World Resort as a party of six and it's definitely a party! There's always something to celebrate, especially during The World's Most Magical Celebration. Be sure to stop by Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom park and say, "Hi!" to the master of ceremonies himself, Mickey Mouse! He's dressed in his EARidescent finest and sharing hugs, autographs, and kindness like confetti.

It is possible and highly recommended that all six members of your party connect as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience. Once everyone appears on your Family and Friends list, you can make plans for them and they can do the same for you. You can also view each other's vacation entitlements like tickets and theme park reservations, which are currently required for theme park entry.

Thanks for helping me help you by explaining your specific situation to me. When your tickets were initially added to My Disney Experience, it sounds like they were linked to My Disney Experience profiles created and managed by the first person's account. Since then, I understand other members of your party have created their own accounts. This means your task is to merge previously created My Disney Experience profiles with the newly created My Disney Experience accounts. Here's how you accomplish this task online:

    1.  Click "Update" next to an individual's name on the Family and Friends list of the person that linked the tickets. The person's name should have "Plans managed by name of account holder" listed.
    2. Click "Share Planning with name of the person that has their own account."
    3. Enter the email address associated with that person's My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."

These steps will prompt an email invitation to be sent to that individual. Once accepted, all plans that were made for them under the managed profile (including linked tickets) will automagically transfer to their account. You will remain connected as Family and Friends for future planning purposes. Repeat these steps for additional members of your party.

These same steps can be accomplished in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> scroll down to 'My Profile' --> Family and Friends List --> click on name --> 'Send Email').

I hope you and your party thoroughly enjoy your time together, John. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT launches during your visit, in case you're looking for a thrilling adventure.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
