So I have 6 people in my party, all with 4-day park hopper tickets. Two of them are teenagers who are thinking they may want an extra day in the park but want to see how they feel. Once at Disney, am I able to upgrade just two tickets to add a 5th day?

Hi there Desirae! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'd be delighted to assist you with another great vacation planning question.

It sounds like you have an upcoming adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth! One of my favorite aspects of Walt Disney World is its ability to bring guests of all ages together. I have been fortunate to enjoy memorable visits throughout my childhood and adult life. When I'm not busy plotting my next Disney vacation, I teach 8th grade, and I find that the teenagers I interact with speak enthusiastically about Disney trips they have taken or are hoping to take. Are the teens in your party Star Wars fans? If the Force is strong with them, make sure a stop in Batuu and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is on the itinerary!

Although I can spend months (and love every minute!) planning the perfect Walt Disney World vacation, the joy of spontaneity is still important to my family. Fortunately, there are still plenty of ways to alter your plans on the go in the Disney Parks. The My Disney Experience mobile app, for example, makes it easy to modify dining and FastPass+ plans on the go. If your teens (or anyone else in your party) decide they want to add an extra day of magic to their vacation, it is quite simple to add additional theme park admissions to your existing tickets. In a theme park, pay a visit to Guest Relations or a ticketing window where a Cast Member will be able to upgrade the tickets. You can also do this at the concierge desk at your resort hotel. They will be happy to add another zip-a-dee-doo-dah day to your vacation! Keep in mind that you must upgrade and use the tickets before their expiration date, and four day Park Hopper tickets expire seven days after their first use.

I hope this has been helpful as you continue planning your Disney adventure. If there is anything else we can do to simplify the planning process, please stop by and see us again; we're all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Betsy
