Hi there, Summer! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like the Disneyland Resort is calling you, much like the ocean calls Moana! Lucky for you, you can now experience
Character Greetings in their original, magical form! That's right, they're back! Hugs, high-fives, fist-bumps, autographs.. the magic has returned!
Summer, it should be a pretty simple process to switch over the names on your
tickets. However, it is not entirely necessary. As long as the ticket is the same age category as the person attending, you actually do not even need to change the name and will be just fine with the duplicate. Once you scan the tickets at the park entrance, the Cast Member will snap a photo and assign it to that particular ticket. You'll then be able to continue on throughout your day, even park-hopping, as long as the same Guest is using the same ticket.
If the ticket is assigned to a child but is an adult ticket or vice versa, you will likely want to get that hammered out ahead of time to avoid any entry issues. Or, if you're anything like me and just want to double, triple and quadruple check that your day goes perfectly, you can go ahead and
call a Cast Member at Ticket Services to make the name change for you. If you'd prefer to wait until the day of your visit, you can visit the Ticket Booth to make the change.
I hope this helps answer your question today, Summer! Feel free to reach back out to us at
planDisney if any more questions arise during the planning process. We're happy to help make your vacation as smooth as possible, so whether you seek
dining recommendations, can't-miss activities,
Disney Genie+ tips or just general information, we're the panel for you!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
