Hi, there!
Anne, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Now more than ever is the time to visit!
One of my favorite things to do during a Disney vacation is to EAT. There are so many incredible
dining locations in and out of the theme parks! I always aim to try a few new-to-me restaurants with each vacation, but I love to revisit my absolute favorites too.
To answer your question, yes, you may split your travel party up for
dining reservations at different restaurants during the same time frame. I traveled with my large family of 14 a few years ago, and we planned one night for the men and the women to split up for dinner. The men enjoyed an exquisite meal at
California Grill while the women experienced an elegant
Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room. Making the dining reservations for two parties within our larger party was easy! When you book a dining reservation online, you simply select the Guests listed in your
Family & Friends list who you wish to be included on the reservation. That said, I wasn't able to make a reservation for the women
and the men the night we split up for dinner. Since I was listed on the reservation for the Garden View Tea Room, I couldn't make the reservation for the men during the same time frame. My husband used
his My Disney Experience account to make the men's reservation at California Grill.
If you have any trouble at all making dining reservations online, I recommend calling a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-1947. They would be happy to help you sort out your plans!
I hope this was helpful, Anne. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
