Do all people need to be on the dining plan? I'm traveling with my family (3) & want the dining plan but my inlaws may decide to meet us there for a couple of days but not stay on Disney property, will we still be able to dine together?

    Hello Cori,
For me, one of the most enjoyable things to do whilst on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort (other than perhaps to ride Soarin' all day long!) is to dine out with my loved ones.  And with so, so many delicious and interesting restaurants and dining locations to choose from, we're all completely spoilt for choice!
I'm happy to say that yes indeed you can make Advanced Dining Reservations for your whole family including your dear in-laws or any other Guest not using the Disney Dining Plan.  Just be sure to inform the Cast Member serving you who in your party is using the Disney Dining Plan and who isn't and they'll magically take care of the rest.
I thought you might also find this Dining Plans - Frequently Asked Questions link to be an extra useful planning resource.
    Have a great Disney day.
