Can the # of people (less, not more) change for a cruise stateroom? Can I reduce the # after booking? Also, will my overall price reduce if I have less people? Thanks!

    Ahoy Erin –

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am pleased to help with your booking dilemma. Rates on Disney Cruise Line are based on double occupancy, and if you reduce the number of people, your rates will probably go down if you started out with more than 2 people. For this reason, going down from 2 people to 1 person will not significantly change your rates. In order to find the exact amount of the reduced fare, you would need to contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent.

The guest count can be decreased or increased based on the stateroom maximum up until the dates of final payment. This date varies based on itinerary, but in general would about 75 days prior to cruising for most ships leaving the continental United States. It could be 90 days or more for international ports or transatlantic cruises.

Erin, I hope this helps you and your crew to plan a fantastic cruise. If you need further assistance, please come back to “sea” us.
