We have 11 people in our group for Disney. We are planning for one person to manage the Genie Plus. How realistic is it for all 11 people to be able to get on the same rides? Better to divide the group - if so, we will be apart all day - this makes me sad!

Hey Howdy Hey Greta and welcome to planDisney!

I love to hear that you will be sharing the Magic of your trip to Walt Disney World Resort with 11 others. How exciting! Planning for larger parties can be tough at times but still possible for everyone to share the experience. Thank you for stopping by with your question about planning for larger parties, I will be happy to give you a few pointers to manage Genie+ selections.

While one person in your group can manage 11 people for Lightning Lane Entry times, you might run into issues getting everyone on the same attraction at the same time. I would first recommend you try to get your reservation for all 11 but if you find you are having issues, then it might be time to break the larger group up into smaller numbers. You might need 1 or 2 others to help make the Lightning Lane selections, especially later in the day as the availability starts to become more of an issue as more times are taken.

The other thing you could do to try to get as much of the experience in the parks as possible together is to get to the parks early! Suppose you are staying onsite at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. In that case, you can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry and hop on attractions such as Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom before the parks get busy and with a short wait time so everyone can experience the attraction together. You can save other attractions such as Jungle Cruise for later in the afternoon as you might have a better shot with attractions that may not be as popular for your Lightning Lane selections.

I hope this information helped give you some options on how to best experience the Magic of the parks together. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
