Hi there, Virginia!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With a group of 16 people traveling together, there is no doubt you will ALL have an incredible time! Cruising is a fantastic way to travel with a group because with so many
things to do onboard and at port, everyone can do what they want and still meet up for dinner and evening entertainment!
If you are all first-time Disney Cruise Line Guests, your Online Check-In window will open 75 days prior to your sailing and at that time you will choose your Port Arrival Time. I suggest coordinating with the other members of your party and all selecting the same Port Arrival Time, if possible. Once you arrive at the port for Embarkation and check-in, you will be assigned your boarding group number.
Boarding typically begins around 1:00PM and you will board the ship when your boarding group number is called. Guests are not permitted to board earlier than their boarding card number, but you can always wait and board with a later group if you choose to.
Once onboard, you are free to explore and familiarize yourself with your new home for the week. The buffet restaurant will be open for lunch as will the pools if anyone is ready for a swim! Your luggage may not be delivered to your room until later that day, so you may want to keep a carry-on bag with you containing any necessities you may need before your luggage arrives!
Make sure everyone in your travel party downloads the
Navigator app so you can utilize the chat feature and keep up with one another while onboard!
Happy Sailing!
