Can people go inside space 220 without a reservation just to take a picture? Or should i make a reservation if i just want to look at the restaurant?

    Hello Leira,

We are so pleased you've stopped by planDisney with your "out of this world" question. I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Your countdown will be here before you know it!

Space 220 is such a neat experience, I completely understand your desire to want to check it out. Unfortunately, you do have to be dining there in order to head up and take a look around. If you are visiting with children, you'll want to make a reservation for either the restaurant or the lounge. If your party is only adults, you can also inquire about the walk-up bar seating on the day of your visit, but be prepared as most days there is quite a wait to be seated.

My mother and I dined at the bar on one of our last visits and it was delicious. We had the Astro Deviled Eggs and a couple of their signature cocktails. The real stars of the show though are the large "windows" that show planet Earth and a few other special space visitors. It was definitely worth a visit.

Bonus Tip: Make sure that you ask about the special Space 220 trading cards! They're not always available, but sometimes when ordering a certain drink, you'll receive a few and they make such a fun memento.

Enjoy your vacation, Leira, and please stop back by planDisney if there is anything else we are able to help you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
