    How many people can use Genie plus on one account/device?

    Welcome back to planDisney! Can you believe your magical carpet ride to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner? You're about to enter a whole new world where magic is tangible and fun abounds at every turn. I bet you can't wait to be here on your adventure!

    Disney Genie+ service allows you to be one jump ahead of the standby line when you utilize the Lightning Lane entrances that are included in the service. It essentially saves your place in line by choosing the next available arrival window at one of more than 40 experiences throughout the four theme parks for one low price per person per day. It's like having your own magic lamp in your pocket! I'm glad to hEAR you plan on utilizing it on your trip.

    You can purchase Disney Genie+ via the Tip Board in your My Disney Experience App starting at 12:00 a.m. midnight on the day of use. At this time, Disney Genie+ service can only be purchased for 12 people at a time. This is because you can only select 12 individuals from your Family & Friends list when booking a Genie+ Lightning Lane selection. I suggest you make your purchase by 6:00 a.m. the morning you plan to use it to allow time for any technical hiccups that may occur. I strongly encourage you to be in your Tip Board ready to make your first Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selection at 7:00 a.m. on the dot, because some selections sell out quickly. Remember, you can continue making Disney Genie+ service Lightning Lane selections every two hours or after you've redeemed your initial selection, whichever comes first. You can keep track of when you are eligible to book your next selection by going into your Tip Board and trying to click on another attraction's arrival window. It will tell you the exact time you will be eligible to make your next selection.

    If you haven't already done so, make sure you've connected to all members of your party through your My Disney Experience accounts so they show up on your Family & Friends list ahead of your arrival. This is super important, because they will not show up on the list of individuals to select when making a Disney Genie+ service Lightning Lane selection if you don't. The easiest way to connect your accounts is through your My Disney Experience App. Go to your profile and select "Show My Linking Code." This will generate a unique QR linking code that others can scan to add you to their Family & Friends list so you can plan together.

    You can also do this from a browser. Simply access your Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account, scroll down to the bottom of your list, and select "Add a Guest." You will see three options to add someone - through your connected Guests, from a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, or by entering their name and age. If you have any issues, I suggest you contact the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience and MagicBands line at 407-939-4357 for further assistance.
