We have about 30 people in our family that are planning a vacation . Most of them are children rangeing in the ages of 1yr to 19 yrs we are wanting to find out if it would even be possible to tqke a vacation from oklahoma city to disney world

Hi Suzy! You do have a large family and I am sure trying to plan a vacation with everyone is quite a huge task!

Walt Disney World is a perfect place to vacation with a large group. My own family held their family reunions there for many many years. What makes this a super spot is the fact that there are four parks of interest, two water parks, a shopping area such as Downtown Disney, and a multitude of choices when it comes to recreation. Kids and adults can golf, swim, fish, horseback ride, boat and much more. There are attractions in each park that are sure to please all ages whether you are looking for a thrill ride or something a bit tamer and more magical.

There are numerous dining options so everyone can find something they like during the stay. We used to give one family the choice of the day to pick a restaurant which made it fun and different.

For lodging you can all reserve the wonderful cabins in Fort Wilderness where you are not connected but certainly together side by side. If you choose something a bit more modern there are three categories of resorts from the Values to the Deluxe depending on what the budget can handle. There are also Villa accommodations where you will get a full kitchen  and two bedrooms which might handle more then one family so you can share the cost. Check out the new family suites in the Value resorts as well as they offer a separate bedroom if you have young ones who head to bed earlier then the rest of the group.

Keeping that large of a group together 24/7 is hard so we set up meeting times for meals where we would all gather and share the stories of the mornings or days. Don't worry about sitting together at meals as none of the restaurants can seat 30 at a table. We drew names for who we would sit with and that made it even more fun for the meals.
