We are going with 10 people. 3 families. My mother in law paid for everything and everything is under her credit card. I am wondering, is there a way to add a credit card to my families magic bands? If so does that mess with dining plan payments/tipping??

    Hi Russ!

How fun!  I love visiting Walt Disney World with extended family.  You'll be making lots of magical memories during your vacation that is quickly approaching.

You can certainly add your own credit card to your account for charging privileges.  I often do this when I'm sharing a room with friends and we want to pay separately for own own charges.  Simply visit a Cast Member at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to add your own form of payment.  You can choose each guest on your reservation for who you would like the charges to be applied to your credit card.

This does not affect the Disney Dining Plan one bit.  Each room reservation has its own Disney Dining Plan, so at meals all together, you'll use your MagicBand to pay for your meal entitlements as well as the gratuity and it will be charged to your account and credit card.

    Have a magical day!
