How many people can use the Disney pass and what is included

Hey there, hi there, Joyce! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you decided to stop by and ask us a question!

One of the most important steps in planning a visit is to decide how long you want your visit to be, so you can purchase your tickets. Now, sometimes you may have a longer visit or know that you are going to be doing multiple visits in the future, and that means a Magic Key pass may be a better option, savings-wise. I believe that may be what you are asking about. A Magic Key pass is a way for you to unlock multiple visits with a year-long pass. Just like a ticket, a pass is for one Guest. Tickets and passes at Disneyland Resort cannot be shared. Along with multiple visits, a Magic Key allows the holder access to specialty merchandise and food and beverage offerings from time to time, as well as discounts at participating merchandise locations and food locations. At the time of writing this, Magic Key sales are paused, but the Inspire and Believe Keys will be available for purchase again soon on May 20, 2025.

Another popular "pass" at Disneyland Resort is the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass. There's Premier Pass too. These are something you would purchase in addition to your ticket and allow you to book times to enjoy attractions with entry into the Lightning Lane, giving you shorter wait times than the standard line. Lightning Lane passes, too, are good for one person/ticket per purchase and cannot be shared.

Joyce, I hope I was able to clear up any confusion about passes, and hopefully, I touched on the one you were talking about. If I got it wrong or you would like some further planning help, just submit another question. We are always happy to help!
