    i have 6 people going with me to disney, do we all need a magic band or just one of us?

    Hi Elena, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

    Technically, Guests can choose to use either a MagicBand or an Admission Card in order to enter a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park, provided that there is a valid Theme Park Ticket that is linked to either the card or the MagicBand (usually done through a Guest’s My Disney Experience account). 

    The 6 other people travelling with you don’t need a MagicBand to use their Theme Park Tickets - they can just use a card… although I find MagicBands to be way cooler! Plus, if your entire party is staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during your upcoming visit, they will each get their very own MagicBand (that you can personalize!) that they can use throughout their stay.
