How many people can I check in to the lightning lane on my Disney experience app? Once I booked the lightning lane for my group, do I need to have individual cards for each member of my group to redeem the ride? We do not have magic bands.

    Hello there, Neil!

Thank you for taking the time to send us your very first question. We are thrilled to help you plan a pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I cannot imagine visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth without taking advantage of Disney Genie+ and making individual purchases of Lightning Lane entry. These fantastic tools help us make the most of our time while visiting the theme parks. At this time, you can make a reservation for up to twelve Guests for a Lightning Lane arrival window while using Disney Genie+ or making individual purchases of Lightning Lane entry. If there are more Guests in your travel party, more people can be in charge of making selections. Be sure to connect all your Disney accounts via My Family & Friends, and you will be ready to go!

To redeem Disney Genie+ or individual Lightning Lane experiences, each Guest in your group must have their own MagicBand, a physical ticket card, or a Disney MagicMobile pass. Since you will not have MagicBands, you can request ticket cards at ticket windows located at park entrance, at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, or your Disney Resort hotel. You can also create a Disney MagicMobile pass via the My Disney Experience mobile app, link it to your digital wallet, and use your mobile device to enter the parks.

I hope this information is helpful, Neil. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
