what do they do for people that cant come on their birthday? because they are teens and cant miss school

Hi, Kathy!   You are welcome to celebrate your birthday at any time in Disney World even if you are not there on your actual birthday!   On a previous vacation, we missed my son's birthday by 2 days, but you can bet we will be celebrated just the same!

When you are making your Advance Dining Reservations, let them know you are celebrating a birthday and they will sometimes surprise you with a special treat.   Or, make your own magic by ordering a cake or an in-room celebration.  (I was treated to a Mickey and Pals in-room celebration for my last birthday, and it was absolutely amazing!)   Click HERE for some super ideas!

Pick-up your free Happy Birthday button at Guest Relations, and get up and dance at the Move It!  Shake It! Celebrate It!  Street Party in the Magic Kingdom.

While you must be at the Walt Disney World Resort on your actual birthday to receive a free park admission, there are so many other great ways to celebrate!   Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
