If there are 6 people booking a table together, but 5 are from one family paying and the 6th is accompanying them, but paying for their own meal, does the 18% tip get added automatically ? thanks

    Hi Brenda,

From my past experiences with table sizes and the 18% automatically applied tip it doesn't matter how everyone is paying (separate families and what not, etc...) it is the size that matters.  6 guests at one table is the point where the gratuity of 18% will automatically be added, even if 1 or more of those seats at the table are occupied by children who may not be eating off the menu or are sharing their parents meals.  I know it doesn't make a lot of sense to many guests why this is but I guess DisneyWorld had to create a start point for automatically applied tips and unfortunately, unless things have changed recently, this has been my experience.

    Best Wishes,
