Hi Primavera,
We're so happy to have here at planDisney! I can see that you are planning for a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days. It's right around this time that the pixie dust starts to swirl and the excitement gives me a little pep in my step. Let's see if we can get an answer to your question and set you up for a successful day in the parks.
It sounds like you are familiar with the
Disability Access Service (DAS), which is offered to accommodate Guests who are unable to wait in the traditional standby queue due to a developmental disability. If a Guest is eligible for DAS, up to 3 additional Guests can be included in the party, for a total of 4. When the Guest is booking return windows, they can choose 3 additional Guests to be included so that they can ride together.
Guests can determine their eligibility for DAS in two ways—via live chat on the website, as soon as 60 days in advance of a visit, or once they arrive at the parks at the Accessibility Services Kiosk. If eligibility is determined, the Guest will then go through the
registration process. Once all is set, you can head into the Main Entrance Gates and select your first attraction return time directly in the Disneyland app, which will be similar to the current standby wait, but you won't have to stand in the physical queue. Your DAS registration is valid for up to 240 days or the length of the ticket, whichever comes sooner.
This weekend will be buzzing with the launch of
Disneyland's 70th Anniversary festivities!
You'll be among the first to experience limited-time offerings from special food items to merchandise to nighttime spectaculars and parades across the resort! The
Disney Parks Blog is a wonderful resource that breaks down what to expect, including a
Foodie Guide so that you can earmark some must-try sweet treats!
I hope we've guided you to a smooth arrival, Primavera! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney. I'm wishing you magic and unforgettable memories!
