Hiya, Holli! Welcome to planDisney!
Planning a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is always exciting. I have found that the My Disney Experience section of the Walt Disney World Resort website is very user friendly, and by extension the
My Disney Experience app is as well. Both are such great tools to help you prepare for your trip!
To answer your question, the same My Disney Experience account can be accessed on multiple devices at the same time. I will sometimes do this when I am booking
Advanced Dining Reservations, or
Lightning Lane Passes for my family. This is especially helpful when I’m making these plans on my own without the help of my spouse or others in my travel party. Having said that, it’s definitely best practice for everyone in your party to have their own My Disney Experience account. This way, when it is time to book things like Advanced Dining Reservations,
Enchanting Extras or Lightning Lane Passes, you will have a second set of hands to help you! When you’re at Walt Disney World Resort and navigating the parks, the My Disney Experience app becomes so much more than just a planning tool. You’ll be able to make and modify Lightning Lane selections, mobile order food and snacks, check attraction wait times, map directions to water bottle refill stations, restrooms, and so much more!
If you have any children in your party, it’s best practice to create accounts for them as well. You will be able to manage their plans, and it will also allow you to assign them their tickets and add them to any other plans you make, such as dining reservations.
I hope this answers your question, Holli. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
See you real soon!
