How much do the penny pressing machines charge to press coins on average at MK? We are trying to be fully prepared for the challenge of collecting pennies.

    Hi Catherine,

I love that you are planning ahead for lots of penny pressing fun! My boys love their penny collections and we always have so much fun when we find a coin press machine.

To press a penny, you will need two quarters and one penny. These machines do not take any other coin combinations so make sure you have exact change. I brought one roll of quarters and a roll of pennies on our last trip and it worked out great!

Coin press machines can be found all over the Parks and Resorts at Walt Disney World. I bookmarked some maps of the general locations of these machines from a website called parkpennies.com during our last trip on my smartphone. It was a huge help!

I also recommend purchasing a Penny Press Wallet to hold your pennies as you collect them. You can purchase one ahead of time or in the parks for under $10.00.

Wishing you luck on your search for pennies, Catherine! Enjoy your vacation.
