here in pennsylvania, with the humidity and warm weather comes bugs, gnats, mosquitoes, flying insects. is this generally a problem that i should be prepared for? we are coming in 2 weeks, may 14 - 21

    Hi Charlotte:

Honestly, I've never had a problem with bugs, mosquitoes, or gnats at Walt Disney World. I don't know how they do it, other than to say, it's Disney Magic.

Florida can be prone to love bugs, which are harmless and don't bite or sting, but tend to get stuck on fast-moving cars on highways. But this shouldn't be an issue for you at Disney World. Bugs, mosquitoes, or gnats have never been a problem for us at Walt Disney World, and I tend to be someone who somehow attracts more than my fair share of mosquitoes in the real world.  If it makes you feel better, you can bring a small stick of insect repellant, but I would bet you won't need to use it.  The only bugs you'll likely encounter at Walt Disney World will be in the It's Tough to be a Bug! attraction.
