    Is there a penalty for cancelling a reservation at a resort after I have already completed early check in?

    Hi, there!

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John. I'm so glad you stopped by!

     It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. While I sure hope you don't have to cancel your Disney Resort hotel reservation, I know that life sometimes hands you lemons instead of pixie-dust and plans have to be changed. 

     Disney's Online Check-In Service is just one of the many benefits Guests of Disney Resort hotels have access to. This convenient service makes it possible to skip the front desk entirely upon your arrival! Whether or not you complete the Online Check-In process does not at all affect canceling your Disney Resort hotel reservation. If you have a room-only reservation, you can cancel 5 or more days prior to your arrival date with no penalty. If you have a Disney Resort Hotel Package, a cancellation fee may apply if you cancel with less than 30-days to your arrival date.
