Ahoy, Robert!
I'm thrilled to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you're thinking about luggage, you must be getting ready to set sail aboard the Disney Fantasy! Beginning to pack for our cruise always gets my family buzzing with excitement. Even though we've sailed on multiple voyages, we still review the
Packing List for Disney Cruises before each cruise, just to make sure we don't forget anything!
Each member of your party will be able to check in two suitcases. In addition to the checked suitcases, Disney Cruise Line allows each Guest to board the ship with two carry-on bags on embarkation day. These carry-on bags should be no larger than 22"x14"x9" because they will be sent through an x-ray scanner at the Cruise Terminal. Depending on when your designated port arrival time is, your stateroom might not be ready when you board the ship. My family and I like to bring a rolling carry-on bag so we can roll it around the ship (rather than carry it) before our stateroom is ready!
Each stateroom is created with the needs of families and friends in mind! There are places throughout your stateroom to store your suitcases so they're out of the way. With that being said, if you are traveling with four adults in one stateroom and each adult brings two large suitcases onboard, you may need to get creative with where you store everyone's bags. I recommend each person bring one suitcase and utilizing the
laundry services onboard when needed!
Robert, please don't hesitate to sail back and visit us again if you have any more questions before your voyage on the Disney Fantasy!
