I have a 2010 Peg-Perego Pliko Switch. How much abuse will it see on buses and flights? DH, DS and I have never flown! (A first for all) Has anyone else used this one? Advice? Ours or Rent? I don't want ours to get too much abuse!

    Hi Megan!

I can understand your worry with your stroller.  We've flown since 2005 with our strollers, and I'd have to say they've suffered minimal damage from the flights, but that's not always the case.  We gate check our stroller, so that we can use it in the airport--with 3 children it comes in REALLY handy to have a place to put 2 (or all 3!) of them--we have a Bob Revolution Duallie.

I would suggest getting a cover for it, and using that to help protect it, but ultimately if you are extremely concerned, then I'd leave it at home and rent instead.  Orlando Stroller Rentals rents some FABULOUS strollers, and they are priced well, so that is an option too!

    Have a magical vacation!
