Where can you do pearl mining?

Howdy, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by to see us!

I see you’re headed to Walt Disney World next month and are interested in a unique souvenir - a personally chosen pearl! I’ve been able to “dig up” some information about this experience for you. It was unavailable until recently, but you can visit The Pearl Factory at the Disney Springs Marketplace as of last fall! There, you’ll be able to choose an Oyster and have it opened for you to reveal at least one unique pearl! Plus, they offer beautiful jewelry for sale. There were previously other locations at Epcot in the Japan Pavilion and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Unfortunately, as of this time, there is no information available on the reopening of those locations.

Kayla, I hope that you enjoy your treasure hunt during your vacation next month! What an amazing way to commemorate your trip. If we can help you plan your visit in any other way, do not hesitate to come back and see us! It would be our pleasure to hEAR from you again soon.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
