I have a peanut/tree nut allergy child-----are the restaurants safe for my child?

Hi Dorothy - I know how concerning allergies can be to families - my daughter was diagnosed with a tree nut allergy last year, and we've learned quickly (and the hard way) how important it is to know what ingredients are in every food.

When you dine at a Walt Disney World table service restaurant, let the cast members know that you have an allergy at the table.  Before any food is served, the chef will come over and discuss what items are safe and which are not.  We felt very comfortable with how much attention was paid to our concerns.

At quick service restaurants, you can ask to see the ingredients in the foods you are ordering.

While I hesitate to call anything completely safe, you should feel very comfortable dining with your child at Walt Disney World.

    Have a great vacation!
