when are the peak times to travel to disney vs slower times

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel April! We’re so happy you stopped by.

April, any day is a GREAT day to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. That being said, there are definitely times that will be more popular to visit during the year. May it be because of the special events the resort offers or because it’s a preferable time to vacation; think Christmas, Halloween,  Spring Break, and Summer. But with some good planning, even during the busiest times, you can have a most magical time during your stay!

Historically you can expect larger crowds during major holidays and school breaks. But there are other factors that can affect crowd numbers. Whenever I’m planning, I reference crowd calendars online that can give you an idea of what to expect when visiting during your selected timeframe. I use Undercover Tourist but there are many others you can find with a simple search.

I hope when you visit you enjoy the parks to the max! Be sure to come back and see us again so we can help you as you continue planning and dreaming up your unforgettable visit to the place where magic is endless
    See you real soon!
