Howdy Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m super excited to hear that you will soon be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. As a planner, I love hearing when guests have a strategy for visiting the parks to enjoy as much magic as possible. Let’s take a look at your plans and see if there is anything else I might add to them.
Okay, so I think you have a solid plan for using your 4-Park Magic Ticket. My fellow panelist and I like to consider ourselves Team No Sleep, which means we go from rope drop to close each day to maximize our time in the parks. With that in mind, I highly recommend that you and your family arrive at the parks 30-45 minutes before opening so you can start enjoying the day's rides and experiences. Here are a few additional tips and strategies I recommend for each day.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom - This park opens earlier than the others but also closes earlier, so I recommend getting there early for rope drop. The first thing I would do is head over to Pandora - The World of Avatar to get on both rides there. These are the 2 most popular rides in the park, so you want to get there quickly to minimize your wait. From here, I would work my way around the park clockwise to Africa, then Asia, and back to Discovery Island.
Magic Kingdom - So, in my experience, this park tends to have lighter crowds on days when it closes early for a party. Because of this, you should be able to enjoy lots of rides and experiences with shorter wait times. I would use the same strategy as at Animal Kingdom: rope drop and work your way around the park clockwise, starting with Adventureland and working your way around until you get to Tomorrowland.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios - Since you plan on getting Lightning Lane Multi Passes for this park, I would try to get your first pass as early as possible because once you have scanned into your first experience, you can book your next one. I would try to do rides and experiences with lower wait times in between your scheduled Lightning Lane times. I also highly recommend getting a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, since it is the most popular ride in the park.
EPCOT - Along with using your Lightning Lane Multi Passes, I suggest getting a Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This is my family’s absolute favorite roller coaster, and I think it’s worth getting a pass so that you have plenty of time to do all of the other experiences in the park. I would try to get as much done in the lands at the front of the park, leaving you plenty of time to stroll around the World Showcase and enjoy all the amazing country pavilions. To top it off, I’m going to make a controversial statement: I like to start in Canada and work our way around counterclockwise.
Ashley, I hope that you and your family have a magical time visiting the Walt Disney World Resorts. If you have any further questions, please stop back by, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
See ya real soon,
Robert
