Can you use paypal in the gift shops yet? I know you can use apple pay but do they offer PayPal as a option?

A-wooo-hooo, Tim! I hope you’ve been adventuring around the parks and having lots of fun planning your next visit. I’m a huge fan of PayPal and have been for a number of years. I’m also a huge fan of Disney merchandise, so I can tell you a little bit about the parks and how you can check out with your purchases.

Now, I’m no Scrooge McDuck, but I do like to save up my coins for a little shopping spree each time I visit Walt Disney World Resort. Typically, I’m using my Disney VISA, my MagicBand cash to check out, but I have seen folks use the ApplePay you’ve mentioned. What you can’t do quite yet is use PayPal for transactions. The only way you’d be able to use your PayPal funds is if you had the PayPal Mastercard Debit, but I believe that is only available to business accounts. Otherwise, you can transfer funds to your bank account and purchase all your collectibles, trading pins and mouse ears you wish to own. I keep my eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any updates in must-have merchandise or new transaction options and updates.  In fact, I’ve been a subscriber for a few years now!

If we can help you with any more of your vacation questions, please let me know. I’m sure you’ll have more fun than Huey, Dewey and Louie on your next trip! ~ Lindsey P.
