Hello, Brenda and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Brenda, while December seems far away, you’ll be enjoying
the holiday Magic of the Walt Disney World Resort before you know it, so let’s chat about payments.
Since you have already booked a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay or vacation package, you’ll want to begin by logging into your
My Disney Experience account.
Room-only stays don’t need the balance paid in full until check-in, so assuming that you’ve booked a vacation package you’ll want to click on “My Plans.” From there you’ll scroll down until you see the details of your vacation and the option to “Make a Payment.” If Stitch has infiltrated the system and you’re unable to make a payment for some reason, I encourage you to
call in and speak with a Cast Member.
Now, Brenda, in addition to paying off your reservation at least 30 days prior to check-in, you’ll also want to circle the date
60 days before check-in, as that’s when you’re able to make advanced dining reservations. If you have specific restaurants that you’re hoping to visit, I encourage you to set your alarm and program your coffee maker because dining reservations open at approximately 5:45 AM. To make advanced dining reservations, you’ll want to log into your My Disney Experience account and hover over the blue circle icon that reads, “Dining.” Then click on “Make a Reservation.” As a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest you are able to book dining for the length of your stay, up to 10 days. Brenda, if you’re hoping to enjoy any
modified character dining, I encourage you to secure those reservations FIRST as restaurants like Chef Mickey’s, Garden Grill Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera and Tusker House fill up quickly!
Brenda, I hope this information is helpful as you’re planning ahead. If you have additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where, like the Incredibles, we are always at the ready!
