Hey Howdy Hey Ann and welcome to planDisney!
I am so glad you stopped by with your question about making payments toward your upcoming vacation. I will be happy to give you a little more insight into this process as it may depend on the type of reservation you have.
If your reservation was booked as a package, which includes a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets, the process of making payments can be done right from your
My Disney Experience account. Once you log on, scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section of your home screen. There, you should see a blue hyperlink to "Make Payment" on the far right of the screen. You should be able to click the link and follow the prompts to get your payment all situated.
You will also be able to access a very similar process from the confirmation email you should have received when you made your reservations. In the email, you should see a simial link to "My Payment" towards your reservation which should bring you to a similar screen to get this done. You should also get several reminder emails that should have links in them to make your final payment, as you get closer to your 30-day mark which is when your final payment is due.
If you booked a room-only reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and may have already had your theme park tickets or bought them elsewhere, this process works a little bit differently. With room-only reservations, you are required to put a down payment on your reservation which is usually equivalent to your first night's stay plus tax. The rest of the total amount is due on your arrival day when you check-in. Unfortunately, you cannot pay this in advance.
As you continue your final preparations for your upcoming trip, I am sure you are aware of it, but I wanted to make sure you knew about the very popular festival in EPCOT. Make sure you have some time planned to head over and check out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This festival is growing in popularity and is one that won't disappoint. This is an epic celebration of the visual arts, performing arts and of course, the culinary arts. There are so many dazzling reasons to take your time and check out all of the nooks and crannies of the park to get the most out of the festival. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for more information as we continue to get closer to the festival to get all the latest news.
Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip and feel free to reach back out with any questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
