How do I make a payment towards my planned trip?

Hey howdy hey Todd and welcome to planDisney!

I can relate with you Todd, that one of the most Magical feelings before leaving to go to Walt Disney World Resort is having most of your vacation paid off well in advance! That feeling of having your vacation package fully paid makes planning so much more fun. Once you have your trip booked and linked to your My Disney Experience account, the process of payment is easily done through your account. That being said, paying it off in advance depends on if you booked a vacation package or a room-only vacation so let's look at both.

If you have a vacation package booked, it is easy to make payments through your My Disney Experience account online. After you log on, go to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. On the right, you should see an option to both "Check-in" as well as an option to make a payment towards your vacation. Click on the link and follow the prompts to make a payment towards your vacation. You don't have the pay in full if you are paying more than 30 days from your arrival date so you have the flexibility to gradually pay down your total. The remaining balance would be due 30 days prior to your arrival. After you make a payment, you should see your updated total as well as receive a confirmation email on your transaction. If for some reason this is not working, you can call Disney directly at (407) 939-7675 and a Cast Member will be happy to help.

With room-only reservations that process is a little different. After you make a deposit on your trip, the final total is due upon check-in at your resort. You are not able to pay this in advance and will do so at the check-in counter with a Cast Member.

Good luck in your continued planning of your next trip. We cannot wait for you to Be Our Guest in the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy planning,
