Hi Christina, welcome to planDisney!
I'm a firm believer that Disney vacations are always better the more family and friends you can convince to come! When planning a magical trip to the
Disneyland Resort for a large group, a great way to budget and use a payment plan is through the
Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages and
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages. These amazing packages allow Guests to purchase both hotel reservations and theme park tickets together. When purchasing one of these packages, Guests will make an initial payment, and then can make additional payments, with the final payment being due at least 30 days before your Disneyland Resort arrival date.
As you begin to plan your Disney vacation, I have a few key dates you'll want to keep in mind.
Theme park reservations can be booked up to 120 days in advance and
dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance, so make sure to mark those dates in your calendar. Dining reservations in particular tend to get booked quickly for the popular dining locations!
Also, when you purchase your tickets, you'll be given the option of a few add-ons. First, you'll be asked to choose between the one park per day tickets and the park hopper tickets. I highly recommend you go with the park hopper option! This will give you full control over your day and allow you to maximize your time as you're able to "hop" between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. Next, you'll be given the option to add the new
Disney Genie+ service which I also highly recommend! Genie+ allows you to access the
Lightning Lane entrances for certain attractions and avoid the standby lines.
