Hi Jane,
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your great question. It looks like you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort soon, how exciting for you!
There are many options for customizing a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, including payment. While there are no payment plans, depending on your purchase there are different options that work for everyone and every budget.
First, if you are planning on booking a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package which includes a Resort Hotel Room and Theme Park Tickets for everyone in your party a deposit is required to reserve your reservation. From there you will be able to see your vacation details in
My Disney Experience under My Plans, including the balance owing. You are able to make payments toward the balance at your convenience, making it easy for guests to plan and budget for their upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. One of the many benefits for booking a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package is that your Theme Park Tickets will be linked in your My Disney Experience Account virtually right away and you will be able to make your
Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass System.
Second, if you are choosing to book a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room only, a deposit is required to secure your reservation, while the balance is due upon arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Again, while there is no payment plan option, there is plenty of time to save for the final balance. I like to purchase
Disney Gift Cards periodically leading up to our Walt Disney World Resort Vacations, and use the cards to pay the balance owing when I arrive.
Finally, if you choose to purchase
Theme Park Tickets only, payment is due in full at the time of purchase. If you would like to split up the cost and you have multiple Theme Park Tickets to purchase you could purchase one Theme Park Ticket at a time, making your payments smaller. Please remember that guests do require both a valid Theme Park Ticket and Theme Park Reservation using the Disney Park Pass System to enter any of the four Theme Parks, so I recommend purchasing your Theme Park Tickets sooner rather than later to ensure entry into your preferred Theme Park each day. Prior to purchasing your Theme Park Tickets guests can check availability using the
Disney Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to avoid disappointment.
I hope that my answer helped, Jane. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. We are always happy to help.
