Hi Elisabeth! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Budgeting for our family trips is always a concern for us too. While Disneyland Resort does not currently offer payment plans on
regular admission tickets to the theme parks, there are ways to save. If you're interested in
Park Hopper tickets, that's a great option to increase flexibility. On short trips, it's my family's preference. It is a more expensive option, however. A 2-day one park per day ticket would be less expensive and you could still visit both parks, just one a day. Also, it is always the case that the more days you stay, the less expensive each day's ticket is. Therefore, a 2-day ticket is a better value than most 1-day tickets, depending on the
tier. A 3-day ticket would be an even better value.
Another option would be to combine your admission tickets with your stay. A Vacation Package at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel or
Good Neighbor Hotel offers good value. Additionally, the Vacation Packages offer self-determined payment plans, which is a great way to space your expenses. It's always a good idea to check the
current offers available too, which change regularly. Finally, you can pay for your admission tickets with
Disney Gift Cards, so you could accumulate multiple cards leading up to your trip as a self-determined payment plan. Whatever you have left on the cards you can use in the parks to pay for dining and merchandise.
I hope that helps! You're visiting at my favorite time of year. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on Halloween fun you can experience during your visit.
Have the best time.
Elizabeth
