Now, once you have chosen your itinerary, booking (and paying for) your cruise is next! I'm happy to report that payment plans are an option as long as you book far enough in advance of your sail date. Leslie, for most stateroom categories, you will initially need to place a deposit on your sailing (typically 20% of your full cruise price) when you book. After that,
you are welcome to pay as you'd like until your final payment is due. So, for example, you can make payments weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or however best fits your budget up until 90 or 120 days before embarkation. Note that your final payment due date depends on the length of your cruise:
- For cruises 1-5-nights in length, the final payment is due 90 days before sailing
- For cruises 6-nights or longer, the final payment is due 120 days before sailing
You can make payments directly through your account on the Disney Cruise Line website by hovering over the tab at the top labeled, "Already booked." You'll then click on, "Make a Payment." You'll be prompted for more information from there.
